As a result of our focus on reducing environmental impact and sustainable development of wine production we joined some projects and got Sustainability certifications.
In the year 2015 we became acquainted with V.I.V.A. project “The Sustainability of Viticulture in Italy” – part of the national “Sustainability and Culture” project started year 2011 by the Ministry of the Environment and of Protection of the Territory and Sea. The pilot phase of the project – completed in 2014 – led to the definition of technical specification aimed to improve the sustainability performance of the entire wine chain through the analysis of four indicators (Air, Water, Territory, Vineyard). The indicators have been developed accordingly to main international rules and standards. The application of the indicators is validated every two years by an independent third-party certification body.

On 24th June 2021 CdG went successfully through the VIVA audit to validate the entire enterprise system certification!
