(see previous episode here…)It’s almost the end of September, the climate was favorable, allowing a full ripening already in most of our vineyards.
The Merlot and Colorino grapes are harvested, we started to also pick Sangiovese grapes in the younger vineyards, these grapes will guarantee us the freshness that always we want to find in our wines.
It ‘got some rain, but not harmful, the grapes are beautiful and perfectly healthy, we can wait longer and give our grapes time to further evolve on the plant.
Meanwhile, in the cellar, the first fermentations have started. We do not prefer wooden fermentation, except for a few small batches of grapes.
